EXPERIENCE

September 1988 to present - Professor in the Electronic Engineering Technology Department.  Coordinator for the Biomedical Equipment Technology and Electronic Technology programs.  Teach courses in Biomedical Clinical, Linear Devices, Digital Circuits, DC/AC Circuits, Engineering Graphics, and Electronic CAD,  Owens Community College, Toledo, Ohio.

June 1985 to September 1988 - Chairman Electronic Engineering Technology, and Associate Professor since September 1986, Owens Technical College, Toledo, Ohio.  My responsibilities were for six majors in the EET department, Supervise seven full-time faculty, ten part-time faculty, two Engineering Technicians, and three student workers.  Also responsible for student advising, development of class schedules, departmental budgets, industrial contacts, advisory committees, equipment acquisition and other related duties.

March 1979 to June 1985 - Electronics and Biomedical Instructor at Owens Technical College, Toledo, Ohio.  Assistant Professor since June 1983.  Responsible for development of the Biomedical Equipment Technology Program., which grew from 24 students in 1979 to over 140 in the 1983-84 academic year.  Taught courses in DC/AC Circuit Analysis, Electronics, Electronic Circuits, Electronic Systems, Biomedical Fundamentals, Biomedical Clinical Laboratory, Biomedical Tech Department.   Also taught Statistical Process Control, Electro-Mechanical Drafting, and Manufacturing Processes.

January 1977 to March 1979 - Biomedical Equipment Technician, St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio.  Developed the Biomedical Engineering Department and developed the preventive maintenance program.

January 1976 to December 1976 - Biomedical Systems Service Representative for Cardiac Monitoring Equipment.  General Electric Medical Systems, Oak Brook, Illinois.

April 1974 to December 1975 - Customer Service Representative for Cardiac Monitoring Equipment.  General Electric Medical Systems, Toledo, Ohio.

February 1973 to April 1974 - Borg Instruments Division of Bunker-Ramo, Delavan, WI.  Electronic Engineer in product development of automotive digital clocks.

September 1971 to December 1972 - University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie, WI.  Work-study student in the Chemistry Department, repairing and calibrating laboratory equipment.

December 1968 to August 1971 - General Electric Medical Systems, Milwaukee, WI.  Electronic Technician in pacemaker research and development engineering.

September 1965 to December 1968 - Northern Engineering Laboratories, Burlington, WI.  Electronic Technician in research and development of quartz crystal oscillators.

June 1963 to September 1965 - John Lynch Chevrolet and Pontiac, Burlington, WI.  Auto mechanic and auto body repair technician.
